== Personal life == Jon Alvarez was born in Canton, OH. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1984. He then moved to Austin, TX at 18 and worked in a liquor store before attending the University of Texas. He then became a History teacher at Webb Middle School, in Austin, TX. He also worked at the Dell Factory Outlet for many years, as well as Enterprise Rent-A-Car. In July 1995, Jon married his first wife, Laura Kauffman. In October 2001, his wife and step-daughter, Rachel Torrence, moved to Baldwinsville, NY. After 15 years of marriage, he and Laura divorced. Alvarez remarried in October 2011. He was the founder of the conservative "watch dog," and now defunct website, known as PABAAH. PABAAH stood for "Patriotic Americans Boycotting Against Anti-American Hollywood." PABAAH was first called FireHollywood. Alvarez, some time after the attacks, started the website PABAAH. Jon Alvarez has told many the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks on the Twin Towers in NYC on Sept. 11th, 2001 caused him to open his eyes.〔Personal conversation with Alvarez〕 His conservative views and opinions are now scarcely found, except those from the past. His last known media presence was in Fall of 2011 regarding a dispute over a fence he had built on his farm in Hannibal, NY.〔http://www.cantonrep.com/article/20140102/NEWS/140109914/?Start=2〕 Alvarez no longer lives on his 66 acres in Hannibal, NY, with his new wife, as of late 2014.
